A Note to Our Clients:
Fake reviews have recently targeted us. Please read our message about who we are,
our 25 years of work built on trust and recommendations, and our fundamental values.
[Read Our Statement]
Recently, a series of fake reviews appeared on our profile from people we’ve never worked with. We’ve reported these to Google for removal, but we want to take this opportunity to clarify who we are and how we actually work.
Masters – Building and Renovation Services has been in business for over 25 years, built entirely on repeat clients and personal recommendations. Until recently, we never focused on our digital presence — most of our work has come from word of mouth and long-term client relationships.
What these fake reviews describe has nothing to do with how we operate.
Our company values are:
  • Transparency and honesty at every stage of a project.
  • Partnership with our clients and their design teams.
  • Personal care for every home — we treat our clients’ spaces as our own.
  • Accountability and long-term support, even after completion.
All our projects are carried out under the appropriate JCT contract, supervised by architects or designers, and fully signed off by Building Control. We also maintain a 6-month retention period (2.5%) to ensure our clients’ peace of mind and quality assurance.
We’re proud of the reputation we’ve earned through hard work and integrity, and we’ll continue focusing on delivering excellent service to every client who trusts us with their home.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years — your trust means the world to us.

Victorian Terrace Transformation:
Modern Reconfiguration and Glazed Rear Extension

Archibald Road
London, N19
The terraced Victorian house in Tufnell Park underwent a significant reconfiguration and refurbishment. A highly glazed extension was added to the rear corner, opening the garden. The kitchen was redesigned to maximise the narrow space. The study, which doubles as a guest bedroom, now features a full-width panoramic window that overlooks the garden, enhancing the view from the double-height internal space. Taller and wider doors to the kitchen and the study above were installed to allow more light and better views. The bedrooms and bathrooms were improved.

Most of the work concentrated on the upper levels, particularly the bedrooms and bathrooms. This included creating a dressing room and an ensuite for the master bedroom and reconfiguring the partitions for the children's bedrooms. Removing two rear chimney breasts has opened up the spaces, making them more flexible. Structural preparations have been made for a future loft conversion as the children grow, with a designated area for the staircase already planned.
