[Read Our Statement]
Recently, a series of fake reviews appeared on our profile from people we’ve never worked with. We’ve reported these to Google for removal, but we want to take this opportunity to clarify who we are and how we actually work.
Masters – Building and Renovation Services has been in business for over 25 years, built entirely on repeat clients and personal recommendations. Until recently, we never focused on our digital presence — most of our work has come from word of mouth and long-term client relationships.
What these fake reviews describe has nothing to do with how we operate.
Our company values are:
  • Transparency and honesty at every stage of a project.
  • Partnership with our clients and their design teams.
  • Personal care for every home — we treat our clients’ spaces as our own.
  • Accountability and long-term support, even after completion.
All our projects are carried out under the appropriate JCT contract, supervised by architects or designers, and fully signed off by Building Control. We also maintain a 6-month retention period (2.5%) to ensure our clients’ peace of mind and quality assurance.
We’re proud of the reputation we’ve earned through hard work and integrity, and we’ll continue focusing on delivering excellent service to every client who trusts us with their home.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years — your trust means the world to us.

Wimbledon Kitchen Extension:
A Seamless Blend of Contemporary Design and Garden Integration

Heythorp Street
London, SW18
We were commissioned by Mr. Gourgey and his family to undertake a comprehensive side and rear kitchen extension and renovation at their Wimbledon home. The project transformed the existing space, creating an open, light-filled kitchen with seamless access to the garden.
Key aspects of the extension included:
  • Structural and Architectural Work: We constructed both side and rear extensions, dramatically increasing the kitchen’s footprint. A long roof light was installed, flooding the space with natural light and enhancing the open, airy feel of the new extension. Structural members were meticulously installed to avoid any visible bulkheads, maintaining clean lines throughout. This also required us to raise the floor in the rear bedroom and level the kitchen’s previously two-tier ceiling.
  • Kitchen Installation: The kitchen, featuring dark cabinetry chosen by the clients, was expertly assembled and installed by our team. We handled the installation of all appliances, worktops, and splashbacks. Our team also stripped the existing kitchen down to its bare walls and sub-floors, removing the suspended timber floor and replacing it with a concrete slab and screed, providing a stable base for new tiles, electrics, and plumbing. The project also included a complete boiler replacement, along with rendering and plastering to ensure a flawless finish.
  • Bespoke Garden Integration: The new aluminium, charcoal-coloured, full-width garden doors provide easy access to the outdoor area, while the extended two-level patio with integrated quartz benches creates a unified indoor-outdoor living space. A custom-built, panelled fence was designed to mirror the style of the kitchen, extending the aesthetic into the garden and maintaining the seamless flow between the interior and exterior spaces.
This project beautifully combines contemporary design with functionality, making the kitchen the heart of the home while connecting it harmoniously to the outdoor garden area..
